Good overview of the concept.

I found the style of presentation of the course very wooden and lacking engagement. I would have found more real life example beneficial and I found a lot of the visualisations distracting. Having a greater diversity of presenters would also be good to see. Sometimes the video wouldn't load and I would have to return to the previous step, watch it all again, and then retry. Some questions at the end which weren't just multiple choice could be beneficial for really testing peoples knowledge. Thanks 😊

easy to follow training

This course is excellent to follow. Short video clips keep you focussed

Great

Very similar to the safeguarding children training session, few differences but both were beneficial for working with students in FE.

5/5
Very good information

Very clear and important information with plenty of links to read further Government guidelines and legislation. Everyone that works with vulnerable adults would benefit from this easy to understand training session.

Very good course

I found the course interesting and easy to follow.

Informative, basic, understandable.

This course would be a big benefit for any member of staff working at the college. Being a mixed age FE college, having the ability to to notice the signs of abuse in mature learners is essential, as we have a duty of care towards them alongside those under the age of eighteen. Vulnerable adults are among the students and staff and being able to support them in the right way is a key part of our policies and duties at the college.

Good training spoilt by lack of sound.

The transfer of information was really hard to absorb due to no sound for 90%+ of the module. If the sound had been in place I believe the training would have been to a very good standard.

3/5
very well constructed

training structure allowed for developing the key components that make up Adult Safeguarding which can then be adapted into a real life situation.

5/5
Good.

I think this course is relevant for people who work in the Health and Social Care sector but could apply for FE staff who work with vulnerable adults also.

5/5
Very thorough

I felt this course was more suited to professionals going into the care sector. The content was extremely thorough and covered many topics. I would say that the largest chunk of the content covered types of abuse. There was some cross over to other training such as prevent. Finished off with 20 multiple choice questions.
