Good comprehensive course.

As a new applicant the thought of doing a course is daunting but I can understand a necessity. Once you start the course it becomes compelling to complete it and to obtain the certificate. The course is very full of information but I found the message that came over loud and clear was that you are not alone and that you must always report even the smallest concerns.

Excellent

The information provided by the trainers for SOVA was clear concise and easy to understand. There were in-depth information covering the various types of abuse i.e restrictive abuse, modern slavery Act 2015, Radicalisation Acts 2008/2018 and Emotional abuse often times some of these abuses are overlooked. The training was interactive and interested, providing additional notes on various topic to allow for further studies. I found the training up to date - addressing all the latest issues that have risen in the caring profession. I found the test straight forward and easy to complete.

Informative and Concise

The course was well presented; the many bite sized videos and summaries were easy to recall. The main points were emphasised so I could remember them.
