I felt the course was 'over the top' for a simple telephone befriending volunteer role. it did make me think about safeguarding adults though so was useful learning experience.

I appreciated this course and feel that the knowledge I gained is crucial in many areas of society. There are different institutions or private homes where vulnerable adults reside and I now feel more enlightened about how to recognize needs for safeguarding and how to go about it. Listening, recording accurately, and informing managers timeously is key to preventing them from harm.

The course was easy to follow, the content was interesting, a good refresher course
Very helpful to find out what organisations deal with guidance on safeguarding issues. Good background information on the principles of safeguarding and what the terms 'person centred care' and 'abuse' mean.
I think everyone should do this course be they be in the caring profession or a personal carer of a family member .
