The course highlighted areas that you would hope to be considered as common sense, but once you digest the varied way abuse is considered these may be overlooked, The additional support of organisations you can contact for guidance was an added benefit.
The summaries give a big picture of safeguarding
The safeguarding course offered practical skills and in-depth knowledge crucial for protecting vulnerable individuals.
Clear, useful, appropriate questions (usually). Good pacing. Useful references elsewhere.
An excellent course
Helpful course not overly technical and used helpful practice examples. The additional info is useful.
I found the course very educational and informative. Makes it very clear what acceptable and unacceptable..
This course is an eye opener for me. I never knew that if someone unintentionally harms a vulnerable person, it is still considered an abuse. Also, learning about the “Person centred approach to care”and the “Duty of Candour’’ was enlightening.
