Very clear, well presented and concise information. I'm looking forward to the next course.
Volunteer health walking group leader: This course has increased my knowledge of all the areas to consider when thinking about safeguarding the people in our walking group. Though the content was more relevant for those who are supporting people in their own homes, I will keep in mind the signs which show that older or vulnerable walkers are not coping with their health issues or their self care. We can all help look out for the older and more infirm members of our group and treat them sensitively and with respect.
This is a comprehensive, easy to understand course that covers everything necessary. However, for the role(s) I have with Versus Arthritis, it's a little too much. I rarely have face-to-face contact with anyone from VA and will never provide care. The course itself is excellent, just excessive for my role.

Covered essential training required to allow the worker to understand safeguarding and recognise abuse to enable them to follow procedure and work ethically.

The course had excellent content and resources links. It was easy to follow and to take breaks from training, then join again was an advantage. It was well presented and the level of testing was not daunting.
Made me more aware of things to consider when interacting with service users.
