The course was delivered in bite size chunks that could be repeated if necessary which made it easier. I'm not sure how relevant it is for many of our volunteers, although it is probably something we should all be aware of.

Messaging communicated well in small manageable chunks with regularly knowledge checks as you go through. Fair test of material in course.
An easy course to follow and good information .
Course was in itself fine, but I don’t see the relevance of a substantial amount of the content to my voluntary work in a shop. I’m not responsible for care (but am aware of my responsibility re abuse).
Having not come across this subject before i found it very in depth with a serious amount of legislation and regulations which i have no doubt are vital to those in the care industry. It gave me a basic insight and allowed for follow up advise from various organisations.
Enjoyed doing course made me think and reassest
Unfortunately, I think that this course is almost completely irrelevant to my role, as the only people I come into contact with who could possibly be considered vulnerable are other volunteers. In the context of our volunteering, which relates to research only, the issues discussed just would not come up. Safeguarding is relevant to research design, but this course did not address those issues.
