Safeguarding Adults - Level 2 Training, Page 2 Reviews

I have completed quite a few Safeguarding courses over the course of the last 20 yrs and I found this was a really good online course. There have been some changes to the safeguarding guidelines especially working with vulnerable older people, in terms of mental capacity. It was very relevant training to my current job role. So that is especially important to know and understand.

This seems as if it is a good course for those whom it is aimed at. But for my role (Digital Champion) 90% of it was irrelevant, as we are in no sense carers.

Clearly presented information with the opportunity to go into more detail with the additonal information sections. Good summaries at the end of each section.

This was very interesting and useful generally though not particularly relevant to my work at the SVP

Unfortunately, safeguarding adults training is not applicable to my line of work; training would be much better if tailored to higher education staff (currently very much aimed at those with active caring responsibilities).

Very well presented by both and they shared important information in a clear and understandable way. It was very worthwhile as a trustee despite not being 100% relevant for the alms homes that I am involved with. I think all trustees should find the time to complete it. Many thanks.
