I have just completed this and found it very informative and easy to follow

This is a good program for using to instruct members of an H&S steering group how to recognise risks within their area of the shop floor. It explains how a Hazard is the potential of a process, substance or activity to cause harm, were as Risk is the likelihood of that process, activity or substance causing harm. It also points out how the company can decide if any action needs to be taken after a specific risk has been assessed by taking into account if action is 'reasonably practicable'.

Covers all the main points and brings all the other bits together-should be the first course though and must be taken before people start the others

This training program ran well and was adequate for the purpose.

A concise introduction to Risk Assessment this training programme takes you through the main stages of the process. Using a 5 step approach it shows you how to complete a Risk Assessment before the learner can then work through a template process to create their own Risk Assessment document. It would have been helpful to several examples of completed risk assessment documents for specific tasks rather than just little excerpts.

Training was good to follow and well structured. I would have liked to have had more examples of completed sample Risk Assessments

Although having a question at the end of each section checked I had watched the videos, interactive choices throughout would aid understanding better, and keep the watcher engaged.

I have gained really valuable knowledge I did not know before and I have enjoyed learning more about it and look forward to using the information within my work place.
