Far too long.

It is not entirely clear to what extend the Risk Assessment examples discussed in the course are relevant for academic staff. I understand that we have to do risk assessments for student projects, or our own research activities. However, many of the examples provided in the course (and how the course is built) are - as I understand it - related to Risk Assessments that are the responsibility of Estates and the University as a whole.

The subject was broken down into logical sections which were concise, informative and easy to understand. Although I have conducted many risk assessments, I found the training useful.

Easy to follow and straightforward

Very easy to understand, not too technical and covers all you need to know. It is not overly long or time consuming either.

The course content was useful and simple to understand but at the end I did want to go back to check just one thing and it could be easier to do that as I did not know the number it was I found that a little difficult but did manage it.

An excellent and balanced coverage of a very broad subject

The course was very well presented and I found it easy to follow. The training was biased towards industry and so, as I need to do Risk Assessments for a church, it would have been helpful to me if the course was tailored more for a church environment.
