Diagree with your cable question as I know that a cable sited below a desk is a major hazard as proved in the past where the insulation had been damaged and caused a near fatal accident this happened at a job centre where the lead had been sited below a metal desk and an employment services operative and a customer where both severely shocked resulting in a nationwide programme of change costing many hundreds of thousand pounds .
