This was a useful overview of why we should conduct Risk Assessments with some practical detailed 'top tips' on how to complete one.
The course is delivered at a good pace. It is very informative, it has additional attachments of further information, matrixs, etc and covers all aspects of risk assessments that I would use in my role at work.
Good explanation regarding the difference between hazards and risks at the outset helped to put everything into context for the rest of the course. Learning how to identify likelihood and severity was helped by the examples given. The importance of consulting all those affected is good advice to be followed. It clearly illustrated that undertaking Risk Assessments where risk can be reasonably anticipated is the 'Right Thing to Do'.
The course covers the basics extremely well. I particularly liked the stress on reasonable and sufficient - I know the HSE do not want great long documents produced for most workplaces.
