I think the most valuable part of the training was the emphasis on Prevent being part of the existing safe guarding role and to consider the risks presented by potential extremist and terrorist activities in the context in which you may experience them. My takeaway from this is that rarely will we encounter such activities but need to be familiar with how to Notice (be curious) and Check where potential shows itself, for example have usual behaviours changed, and take proportionate responses.
Good to follow and informative will help in roles.
