I am a governor. The course was aimed at front line staff with direct contact with young people. It gave me nothing in terms of understanding our governance responsibilities for Prevent or good practice in carrying this out.The course lacked depth e.g. judgements about whether behaviour and context are a risk are very difficult to make in practice and there was no discussion of this, just an acknowledgement that it's the case. Nor was there any discussion about the risks (actual or perceived) of making a referral, or the real concerns some people have about some aspects of the Prevent programme.

The course is informative and very easy to understand and apply to work in education settings.

Easy to follow
clear and concise
I understand the need for safe guarding but this course really was not relevant to the clients I care for.
A lot of content understood in a short amount of time. Ideally it would be even better if one is able to be in total peace to complete it.
