Not very relevant to me

This course is for teachers working with children and much of it is age related. It lacks relevance to university lecturers working entirely with adults.

Great insight

This course offered me an introduction to the Prevent duty and explained how to safeguard vulnerable people from being radicalised to supporting terrorism or becoming terrorists themselves.

This course and exam was informative, non patronising and useful - the test helped to embed appropriate information.

This is a worthwhile course to undertake

This is a worthwhile course to undertake for the majority of staff, including me, with a 20 year service in the forces working at intelligence gathering and an 18 year career in the Police, looking and reassuring the public and keeping them safe. The only down side to the course is that some of the questions asked are confusing. Maybe because I am an bit of a dinosaur but from my own experience, investigate, investigate and investigate rather than formulate an opinion. Always remain open minded until there is sufficient evidence. That is not made totally clear in the course but is always going to be a matter of opinion.
