I feel very uneasy telling students they are, or reporting them as, extremists for speaking out against some of the proposed and existing legislation brought forward by this government. Protest is all our fundamental right. As an educator I should be encouraging them to exercise their democratic rights as citizens, not putting them on a watchlist for speaking out.
