A fair course marred by unnecessary technicalities. I feel that it is not necessary to know the exact names of things such as The Ossicles or the Pinna etc., or that the smallest bone in the human body is the Stirrup, as these do not contribute anything to the course except that you have listened and know the name.
Work in R&D running test programs on engine and electric drive pumps which can take weeks to complete and the noise will be over 85db and can be over 100db, so will be asking some questions,Many Thanks.
I liked the breakdown into separate sections and the single question after each section to keep me on my toes
Gives a good basic understanding of how the ear works and how easy it is to damage it. Gives good information regarding the various action levels within the current legislation and shows how easy the basic protective measures can be put in place.
