Never knew modern slavery has many facets. It was an eye opener
Interesting but a few key areas were glossed over. For example, should a company buy from a foreign country with an indisputable track record of modern slavery? Examples: China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar. Even if a company opertates legally in the UK, purchase of cotton products from (say) China would be supporting a brutal regime (CCP) who are currently committing genocide against the Uyghur people. This is what the UN is reporting. One cannot avoid the politics which invariably arise here, particularly in the case of foreign countries.
