The course was very good at raising my awareness of the incidence of modern slavery within the UK. However it was disappointingly weak at suggesting concrete actions I or my company could take. The suggestions for a company anti-slavery statement was too generic / or simply top level well meaning phrases with no suggestions of concrete actions. I read most of the additional material but not the huge circa 38 page documents with no clear summaries. The one attachment I really would have valued would suggest concrete next steps for a company to take, ideally with sample anti slavery statements support by examples or case studies of actions UK companies have taken. Hope this helps!

Very interesting and informative course which was easy to understand and digest the contents.
It definitely included a few examples that I would not have immediately thought of, but I reckon it should have perhaps provided a few more, and made greater use of the case studies. The course could have also talked more about what happens once someone reports a suspected case of modern slavery.
Everyone should take this training, it's surprising that slavery is so rife!
Very clearly explained. I liked the presenter and it was easy to negotiate the course. I now fully understand all aspects of what might or might not be considered Modern Day Slavery
A well structured clear and concise course providing just the right amount of information on Modern Slavery, the categories, and what to look out for in everyday life and in business.
The use of numerous examples is beneficial and made it more engaging.
