As a staff member who has benefited massively from the free counselling service at college, then studied Level 3 Counselling at college and am now only 1 year away from being fully qualified - I was very impressed by this training. The only thing that is missing is more helpful and practical information about what is available: counselling service for staff at college, person centred and other types of counselling (along with CBT) - direction to Counselling Directory, charities that offer free counselling services, how to apply through your GP and Local Emergency Mental Health Services Information - E.g. First Response. Also - local community projects that offer free group counselling, Wellness groups and support.
Good visual aides, good solutions and help, good practical help and notes.
Finally a great training put in place to deal with such an important subject. All your trainings have something extra compare to a lot of others. And your professionalism is impeccable. Awesome !

clear and concise information. Good additional tools/resources. only slight confusion was that I thought the course would relate to the students not the staff....

All major points covered in this important subject and beneficial to all.
This training on Mental Health was very illuminating, professional and very accessible. Having suffered (quite often in silence) personally mental health issues, the course content was engaging and so helpful. Although I hesitate to be prescriptive in these important matters, I would recommend this course for anyone regardless of whether they have suffered from Mental health issues or not. Most crucially it demolished the stigma of the individual saying they have Mental health issues. To understand an issue is the crucial and necessary first step to dealing with most things and never more so, arguably, with Mental Health issues. Thank you.
