5 Stars "But"

Title ? "Mental Health IN EDUCATION". All about the employee ("although may then be used to help students"). Otherwise a very good if drawn out session, which sadly went a bit too fast and did not allow the participant to go back, say to read over a statement or facts last made, without viewing the entire section again, no fast forward to the bit a wanted to read again. Links to some "Additional", small and hard to read and covered subjects that I would have liked to see as stand alone courses ie PTSD. The advice to take regular breaks "Away" from sources of stress. All well and good, so long as one has just such a place to go to. As for Rhyl College, that would rule out the canteen, cafe and LSA office. As they are often right in the thick of it.

Certainly a starting point

I thought the training was useful and certainly a starting point when it comes to Mental Health. It is just an awareness training session and doesn't really go into too much depth. I was very surprised to learn there are over 200 diagnosable mental health conditions. I would be very interested to complete other Mental Health training if it became available at a greater depth to this one. The test was 20 multiple choice questions at the end.

Informative and served as a quick re-cap

A very informative training session which served as a quick re-cap to my previous training in the same subject. Would recommend all staff members to complete however as many may not have had previous training in the area of mental health. 10/10

Excellent, informative, useful, timely

This course was comprehensive and offered a great of useful information which, as the Wellbeing lead will be very useful for INSET. The strategies suggested will be useful as well to suggest to colleagues who are struggling, particularly in these difficult times. The presenters were informative, without being patronising. It was a very good course. Thank you.
