This course provides an excellent overview of mental health, mental illness and methods in which to manage our emotions, thoughts and wellbeing. The only two things I believe might be helpful to note are 1) be careful with the animation used when discussing depression. I know a few people that would find what looks like blood splatters (despite the fact it's probably paint!) to be triggering if they self-harm or have previously, and 2) OCD is more of a significant problem than was made out and wasn't mentioned in the list towards the end, but dementia was. No mental illness is more important than another, absolutely, but as someone with severe OCD (and also a mental health first aider) I'd appreciate seeing it properly represented with the others. Overall, a fantastic video and just what I wanted for our staff! Thank you!
The information was informative. Great content.

Best course that I've done so far with iHASCO. Lots of really direct and useful stuff, links for further information if required.

I have sat through the same videos presented over and over in the past which doesn't help mental health when there are deadlines etc. You should really allow people to do a test and if they don't pass they should have to sit the course. waste of my time.
This course has made me realise I need to think about myself.
A great whistle-stop tour of mental health. The discussion of causes, treatments, preventative measures and management of mental health was very enlightening and certainly provided me food for thought. Overall an excellent short course!
I have an impression that video content delivery was very slow. I do not know whether this was due to my Internet connection, but I used mobile data option, which normally works very well for me. The streaming was extremely slow during the first half of the course, and improved somehow near the end. I used Google Chrome on Ubuntu.
This course really made you stop and think about your own, your family & colleagues mental health. We do not take enough time to think about our feelings and the affect they can have on us and the people around us. It helped me identify different types of mental health issues people can have and how we can help ourselves overcome them, or when to seek help.
