Excellent

I found this course very informative, helpful and eye opening. Useful additional material included and links to other sources/apps etc was very good. All in all a very useful course.

Interesting and thoroughly covered

I found this course interesting. I am aware of mental health overall, however this course is thorough and gave me a deeper awareness of the difference between Depression and Anxiety including the signs.

Triggering

With eating disorders being one of the leading causes of death in people with mental health conditions I don’t think it is appropriate to contain a slide listing foods that people should avoid as this can be triggering. It’s also not particularly relevant, eating ketchup hasn’t medically been linked to mental health issues, and latest papers on nutrition and mental health show eating ‘unhealthy food’ in moderation is better than completely avoiding. Lastly on that slide coeliac is not an allergy it’s a disease and it’s spelt wrong.

A "must do" course

I left this course until last as I thought it might unsettle me! I recognised a lot of content that I related to myself. It made me think more about turning negatives into positives and this is one if the main things I am going work on to help me with things that stress me out. I would like to revisit this course when I need to to remind myself what other areas I need to work on to conquer any anxieties going forward. Excellent course.

Good covering of mental health issues.

It was encouraging for those who are afraid of mental health - especially to realise you are not alone, it is possible to talk about these things and there are ways forward. You can help yourself, and others can help you. There are good resources and organisations who can give support. I gave 4 star rating because I felt the questions were rather too easy.
