Generally good course, but not able to use some of the good practice in my role, as a lone worker.
Excellent course with engaging presenters, who are calm and non judmental, with some additional resources and tips to take away.
I've always been a good listener to people's problems but this course has delved into people's feelings and anxiousness more. There are so many people with different types of mental awareness and this has educated me much more than I understood before.
Good overview and insight for both work and home life.
informative
As a starting point for everyone in an organisation this course highlights the importance of having conversations about mental health. The information regarding specific conditions or what to do is very basic, and varies between offering advice for the individual and for you to help others. The downloadable summary document at the end is useful though as it has links to lots of other organisations that provide valuable support and information.
Many people suffer in silence it's nice to know there is help out there if you need it

My daughter is a psychologist so I have some idea as to how complicated this topic is but the course gets the balance just right: highlighting the key messages, providing useful tools and helping to break down barriers.
The information & advice given in this course is very helpful & I have used several of them in the past & still use some now. Sometimes though the help you look for isn't always as forth coming as you'd hoped ( employers), this can then cause more worries & stresses.
