A good short informative course that outlined some basic facts and information around mental health. It also directed you to addtional reading and websites that broaden your knowledge on the matter if you felt you want to.
As someone who suffers from a mental health condition I can only say how disappointed I was in the content of this course. Your section on thought pattern is extremely tone deaf, it is not as easy as changing your thought pattern from negative to positive. If it was as simple as this do you think so many people would be depressed? It also doesn't account for people with intrusive thoughts. Often people with mental illness can not control their thought pattern, so to leave it at this is dangerous and can make people wonder why they simply cannot change their thought patterns.
overall all very informative. felt the test at the end wasn't so required as it in turn produces stress...
As above, very interesting in the stats re mental health and also the different types or mental health issues.
Whilst watching, I could think of several scenarios including myself where I think being aware of mental health could have helped a situation and its outcome.
Resources attached to training were really helpful and overall content of the session was great.
