Essential for Modern Management.

Having completed Modern Management Courses and Stress Defusing Courses in my previous career as a Police Officer, it is essential for all Managers and above to be trained in recognising the significant part they play in the wellbeing of staff and there own wellbeing. It promotes how to recognise and identify mental health issues and how to be brave enough to approach those suffering or to be the approacher when it is you who is suffering.

Really easy to follow and great tips

This course is simple to follow and very engaging, I found it really interesting and as a manager I will be using some of these practises on my team members.

Really useful for managers

Given the strains the pandemic has caused, and the way in which we work and behave has changed, this course is massively beneficial to line managers and/or senior management teams. I have learned a lot, and will be using my new-found skills in my role, as I not only develop my team but look after their mental health and well-being.

Good but could do better

The course is well structured but focussed primarily on being in the workplace. I would like to see this course adapted to represent a more virtual team working environment and some of the challenges or guidance for managing wellbeing remotely

Informative, beneficial and rewarding

I found the course very informative with lots of useful tips and advice on mental health awareness and would defiantly recommend it.

Good course but didn't tackle causes

As with all the courses of this nature, they don't deal with tackling root cause but really only with developing coping mechanisms. Mental Health is a symptom of a problem not a cause and should be dealt with as such. Management cultures that ultimately are the root cause of mental health issues should be dealt with equally.
