I wanted to refer back to the course a weeks after completing it. However it is locked until 2024. The definition of a box ticking exercise.
As mental illness is becoming more apparent and more frequent both in the work place and at home it is very important to know what the early symptom's are and how best to try and deal with them, this training helps us to identify and possibly help our work colleagues and family in the early stages. My personal gaining is that it will help me in my home as not only adults suffer with "Mental Health Issues" but children too and our young ones need the help and support equally. If we can pass our learnings onto our employees and they too will be able to see any symptoms in their children and be able to understand and help their children. I am sure managers and companies will see all round benefits.
Impactful training given the course duration.
I found the pace excellent and it was very informative - the resources are helpful
makes you look at people differently in a good way..
This course is very good for those who have had no experience or training in mental health before, particularly new managers or supervisors. For me personally, I didn't learn anything new but that doesn't detract from the fact that this is a good course.
Good basic information. Will have benefit to managers who are not too good at the open door policy. Also brings home that, as employers we are responsible
