The "LITE" assessment was good, simple and clear to understand. One or two of the examples appeared to be a little amateur/simplistic such as turning the feet in the direction you want to travel after lifting. This could have identified the need to assess the direction you intend to travel, position yourself according to the direction you intend to travel, lift the load and walk removing the need to turn your feet after lifting.

Made me think about day to day manual handling outside of work!
This course is essential to ensure everyone aware of prevention of injury.It is usually only when something happens that we realise how much this training / course holds importance therefore by completing this allows us to assess and evaluate and potentially prevent serious injury.
The course and demonstrations were interesting and informative.
