Very well presented
Makes your life ten times easier then have to do this in a class room
Manual handling is very important as it depend on life, good manual handling help the user of the service to feel comfortable and secured.
The fact that just leaning forward puts high pressure on the discs is briefly mentioned but could be emphasised more perhaps? Bending forward to fasten your shoes can put a high load on the back. approx torso weight x 10 unless a better squatting position is used. Carrying a weight in one hand - eg a shopping bag exerts an off centre load that could be dramatically reduced if the load is split in to 2 bags and one carried each side.
This could very well be summarized in 5minutes and not waste 35...

Always rewarding to be reminded of the correct lifting and handling procedures for our amazing spine. We are inherently lazy taking short cuts. I wish this ‘module’ would be taught in primary classes.
Interesting and helpful
A well paced and informative refresher course.
