Well worth doing.

Though at first I was sceptical with regards to a 'theoretical' manual handling training programme, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was very helpful indeed. The video examples make the lifting techniques clear and simple and leave no room for misunderstanding. A very good programme, that should be completed by everyone, not just manual workers.

Easy to follow, clear and to the point.

Easy to follow, clear, concise instructions and information professionally put across. Very informative.

Good quality

Good quality, perhaps slightly overdid it with length of certain videos. For instance the woman moving a computer a couple of desks was a reccuring theme that really wasn't neccessary. The talk from people affected by back trouble was also long, for the most part people are aware of the severity of back trouble, full stories of peoples trouble are not required for training purposes

Explain well enough.

Everything was explained well enough about lifting & how the back operates. Had to put ear phones in halfway through as abit distracted by things going on roundabout me.

good programme although a little long

I liked the graphics used for the anatomy and description of disc etc. The programme itself was a little long but covered everything needed.

A very helpful and informative course.

The course was informative and helpful with the video clips to reinforce the message. It was easy to choose different sections if you wanted to complete the course in a number of sessions. An idea of how long each session might last would have been useful.

It will definitely make me think twice before attempting to lift an object.

It was very easy to follow and I picked up a lot of useful advice to jog my "common sense". I found some of the statistics interesting and particularly relevant e.g. the weight to lift ratio and the number of bones and joints in the body. It will definitely make me think twice before attempting to lift an object.
