I found the 3 training programs to be quite informative and not too time consuming as some of these programs can be.

A very clear and easy to follow programm

I liked the way that the module stressed this is nort just for work but everyday activities, employer care extending beyond the workplace. The presentation was clear and easy to follow and covered all the essentials. The only things that could have been included are a few negatives e.g. the reasons why we use a particular grip e.g if you put both hands under the load it can tip away from you. Also it is not obvous why you test the weight of a load at waist height, that if it subsequently proves too heavy when you slide it off the desk you will drop it or may hurt yourself trying to prevent it falling. Otherwise an excellent package that coulld only be bettered using practical involvement i.e. lifting real loads under observation.but foor that you need a trainer etc. etc.

A useful reminder of good practice

I found this to be a succinct way of receiving manual handling training and will roll out to school colleagues. We have all been guilty of bad practice, but i have already found myself adjusting my bahaviour on the basis of what I learned.

Mainly good

Most of it is common sence to many but there are interesting sections on less obvious things, enjoyed the bit about the back and how it works.
