Bit too verbal at beginning rather than visual

This test is ok in theory but,,,,,,

This test is ok in theory but,,,,,, it makes a mockery on actually being tested on any physical manual handling as this CANNOT be done online! This tesy used to be in a classroom with a teacher actually monitoring peoples liftingtechniques, and their phisical capability to lift the load. I understand the basic principles of lifting but this course does not demonstrate to me how to lift objects safely in my occupation of Moblie Telecommunications rigger. I am often on a tower, pylon or mast fased with the task of lifting antennasand heavy steelwork into position whilst in a harness and polestrap. Many times, i have had to endure backpain whilst lifting, having to bend and twist to do my job. I am always conciencious of health and safety, never suffering injury whilst at height, but if i stuck to the basic guidelines as of lifting on this course, i would not be able to carry out many tasks whilst working at height.

This program was far too long, with far too much unnecessary information. When people get bored with somthing they do not take in the usefull points. This was the general view in my department.

Manual Handling Course is good

Manual Handling Course on line it is to easy to just keep going back on subject's for the correct answers. You only be able to go through once if you fail you should go back to the begin of the program. Regards Stephen McGurty

Rather slow and tedious.

The subject is important, but the approach was long-winded and rather boring.

I enjoyed this programme.

I thought that the two women talking at the start was a very good introduction and it gives you a sense of how easy it is to permanently damage your body through a moment's inattention to personal safety.
