Overall a good concise training program

It was an enjoyable and easy course to do. 2 things would improve it : 1) if it did mention how long each section took and how to pause it, I missed it, so that could be clearer. 2) the physiotherapist in the video emphasised good posture when not lifting, but except for showing the alignment of the back, did not give examples of how to to this.

A very good Training Aid

A very acceptable Training Aid that was well presented by DVD. This was easy to understand and covered many areasof Manual Handling that is extremly worthwhile knowing and would prevent any unneccessary injuries to personnel. This was aesy to understand and at a managable level that allowed the student to grasp, and if needed return to the study program at any stage. Refresher questions asked throughout the DVD ensured the information had ben retained by the student.

easy to understand

It was a reletively quick and well presented presentation. I liked the information on the working of the spine which helped bring the rest of the training into focus.

This was my first time completing this type of interactive training and I did feel a bit anxious especially when I was told I would have to do test at the end. However, I found it easy to navigate my way around the programme and the quality and information given was excellent.

Detailed and informative.

The programme was very well layed out and covered all topics in good detail, giving a clear understanding of the subjects covered.

Learnt a lot in a short time.

Putting the learning into short individual sections was good and it was easy to pick up on the important points for the test. It would be helpful to be able to navigate back to specific sections, which need to be indexed, so that when you fail a question you can find the bit covering that point easily without having to listen to go through a lot of stuff you can already. The section about sprains and strains needs to be a bit clearer- everyone slips up over those questions. Should hands be between waist and shoulder height for pushing trolleys? If so the lady in the video needs to heed the advice!
