Despite the fact that I have been lifting and shifting furniture for years, there were some useful tips and information here to take away. Thanks.
The Manual Handling in the Workplace programme was easy to follow and presented in a logical order leaving me fully equipped to safely approach any given lifting situation both at work or home. Thank you.
A good basic summary, which covers all the major manual lifting hazards likely to be present in the workplace. The detailed section on the spine was particularly interesting.
A user friendly, fool proof guide to good manual handling practice.
Good refresher course.
A very good product which is easy to use and does the job admirably. It does drag on a little at the beginning (especially with the two women talking about their accidents) but is very good once you get into the training.
It is very current and relatable. It was broken down into chapters so the user was able to see from the very off-set how much progress they had made with the program.
The training is good because it not only trains you to lift and move loads with the correct technique it also shows you how your back is made up and how it works. The training is explaned in a easy to understand way and you are able to keep going over the different sections of the training until you feel that you are ready to take the test at the end. The training doesnt take long to complete either and you also recieve a cetificate to say that you have completed the training.
The programme seemed to cover everything in a reasonable amount of time, it was easy to follow and keeping the sections separated kept it interesting.
good layout and good information but it took longer to complete than I expected.
