Now I will always be prepared to lift and move.
simple to follow
The programme was very concise and well presented making it easy to understand.
Comprehensive overview of safe and effective lifting and good advice in maintaining correct posture to keep free from back pain.
it does what it say on the package. simple to follow.
eXCELLENT COURSE THAT WAS INTERESTING AND TO THE POINT
didn't take a lot of time, presented very clearly and gave me information which was helpful and will allow me to assess any lifting task> I have been able to apply these principles immediately in my workplace and at home.
as and educational exercise it was clear and informative, how ever on some of the bullet point parts after the lifting video it went to fast not giving me the chance to write it down so I hade to keep refreshing it to write it all down.
Plain speaking and not too laboured or long
I believe it is very useful for all people. I will give for Fire awareness: Excellent and Health and Safety: Excellent. Videos and illustrations are very good to learn. But there is one thing which I don't agree with which is lifting the weight and putting the pressure on the legs. I had a similar training when I did my Engineering course and I used the same method e.g. keep the weight closer your body and use the leg muscles to get up etc. I used this technique and I injured my knees two months before. Now I cannot walk properly and cannot bend my knees.
