Would like to see more real people lifting real loads, not just lightly loaded perfectly shaped cardboard boxes. Pictures and videos are worth more than words. You might even show an example of how to badly pick a pencil off the floor and then describe the damage it does to your back.
It was interesting to see how moving / lifting correctly can avoid strain or injury whilst doing everyday tasks especially as I already suffer with a bad back.
This is my first experience of this type of course and found it easy to follow. The step by step format was helpful and the fact that you could go back and recheck information was beneficial for making notes.
very easy to understand
I attended a very good course back in the 70's and found that this was a goodd reminder and had extra bits like ratios in although I don't believe the ratio's will be remembered by people generally after the test is taken
Clear instructions and easy to follow.
A sharp reminder of how easy it is to damage a very important part of your body and how easily damage and pain can be avoided.
Really helpful and informative course that helped me enhance my knowledge of manual handling and taught me some new information that I wasn't aware of before
all staff should complete to assist with their knowledge
This is a very easy to understand course and gets across all the relevent points well
