Very interesting

Would be good to demonstrate lifting people too

Basic information, which should be common sense, sometimes we need to be reminded to protect ourselves

I have done many manual handling coursed with various companies and this version is one of the better ones. The information is provided in a good way and without being too dry. The only improvement I could see would be to make the end questions have more variety than just being multiple choice. By adding something like 'put the words in the right place within the sentance', people would be forced to think more about what they are putting down and the information might stick with them for longer as they will have retained more interest.

Most of the points are common sense but sometimes it is nice to be reminded of the correct way to do things.

We can use some of this dvd for our staff.

The programme is easy to understand and the small sections make it very manageable to complete. The mix of read words and short videos mean that you do not get bored. The fact that we have this programme in-house means that it is easy to train, retrain or refresh staff knowledge in this area.

good overview of the requirements for manual handling in any work or home lifting situation.

Informative and applicable to subject matter

Have used this dvd many times, but today very slow with no apparent reason why.
