This training enabled me to refresh and update my knowledge in this area, enabling me to support students learning and development in the workplace.

Very comprehensive but relaxed approach

The training programme was informative and very comprehensive. The approach of the presenter was relaxed without losing any authority. The segments were of a decent length. The training was clear and straightforward.

I felt the programme was worth while doing; however felt it lacked manual handling techniques of services users if this became necessary.

the videos did not load properly

the videos did not load properly until I downloaded onto my local drive.

easy to follow video

making notes on each section helped with test

5/5
Easy and simple approach to training

Elearning is a lot easier to comprehend and adhere to than face to face in this instance. The use of video and examples of situations keeps the student focused on learning and I think you benefit for both short and long term memory.

Complete waste of time

This type of program is a complete waste of time, it goes in one ear and out the other! Every scenario is based on you picking an item that is right In front of you with nothing else in the way! Have you been on a building site? Have you been in a ware house? what if you need to pick up something whilst leaning over? or you at an angle. On top of that all you have done is show a movie on how it should be done. So when I walk out of here I will carry on doing it the way I’ve always done as this Disneyland of perfect lifting environment you think is a work place does not exist! Furthermore you aren’t showing anyone correct lifting techniques you’re telling them. Classic visual spatial learning when this is aimed at kinaesthetic learners. Clearly designed for your company to make a quick buck and for our company to say they are now insured! Total waste of time!!!
