I have completed this course a few times, and I am aware now when I'm lifting to put into practice good alignment, using my knees and keeping the load as close as possible to my power zone. One area it doesn't cover, which I had to manage for many years, is getting babies/children in and out of car seats.

An interesting beginning with reference to basics of manual handling and skeletal structure. However I felt the practical examples came over as slightly patronising and school teacher'ish.
