A good and easy course

A comprehensive and easy course to follow and understand. The time length of the course is about right.

Ok but not well tailored to the kind of

The course concentrates on office lifting where options such as team lifting, steps etc are available. I am a homeworker who regularly has to carry luggage eg laptop, wheelie case etc on public transport and this is by far the greatest risk of injury for me. Guidance on how to protect the back when travelling would be helpful. The delivery of the course material is rather ponderous and patronising which as you get further along, makes it tempting to skip sections if you aren't well engaged. It would be good to be able to see how far along the course you are at any given point. This might discourage boredom.

Excellent Common Sense Awareness Test

I enjoyed this course as it reiterated the importance of manual handling awareness. Its common sense teachings that you can and should apply in the workplace and at home (perhaps not in the gym, although do lift safely with good form). I recommend this e-learning course to everyone at least every 3 years as its easy to get complacent and I'm guilty myself of forgetting some of the basics from time to time.

A common sense course but made you think

As stated above it was a short course and test which made you consider practices, not just for yourself but when supporting others. Most was common sense but some of the lifting positions given made you consider appropriate adjustments which should be made.
