Manual handling always seems like a simple subject and everyone thinks they know correct handling techniques. The truth is that much information gets forgotten and certainly the technical aspects of human physiology are not well known. This course covers all bases and gives a broader knowledge than just 'how to lift things'. It enables the student to recognise in their own body, the potential damage and the ways in which to prevent damage from occurring. Health and safety training is never an easy subject and a great deal of people switch off at the mere mention. This training will certainly start to bridge the gap with the naysayers!
Easy to understand manual handling information for moving loads both at work and outside of work. Good level of detail and a small amount of extra information about the body is useful when trying to understand how forces work on the body.
The course was logically laid out with each slide taking you step by step through the manual handling process
