I really enjoyed doing it
Very useful in everyday tasks.
This was a good course, which explained a lot, however, the lifting methods were very simplistic, showing "Ideal" situations, with basic loads.I have a personal interest in this, as recently I have been off work with a bad back, after carrying electrical cabinets. These were large, heavy, awkwardly shaped cabinets with little or no hand-holds. There were two of us, carrying this load upstairs. The course showing two people moving a basic office desk 5 yards across a flat. clear floor doesn't really help with techniques.After the course, and learning that two people can only carry 33% more than one, and not double as I had expected explains why I injured myself.Having said that, obviously certain people do manage such loads day in and day out proves that it is possible, I can't help but feel that these courses need to show far more "Real world" situations.
