It taught me a lot about health and safety and food hygiene anf how to go about lifting things and about fire prevention and how to use your common sense
Good material, clearly presented in bite size sections to allow the message to sink in before proceeding. The test was reasonable and fair to assess the retained knowledge. I t would be interesting to see the response at 1 week and 1 month to assess the retained information.

Have completed a few of these online courses over the years and it is good to see that it has been updated and improved .
Although training can be important in raising awareness and reducing risk, it should not be assumed that training alone will ensure safe manual handling. It should be supplemented with monitoring and reviews of procedures to ensure that the training is understood and being applied. Reporting problems such as unsafe working conditions or accidents need to be reinforced by good supervision.
