The Manual Handling course covers every aspect involved in the actions of handling and movement of materials; from the effects it can have on the body and specifically the back, which is the area of the body most prone to both short and long term injury, through a full assessment of the load to be moved, including the load itself, the possible limitations of the individual involved and the environment in which the handling and movement have to take place, through to completing the movement of the material. This computerised training course is ideal for use in businesses where it is not always possible for people to attend a formal course of instruction, as individuals can complete the course as, and when, they have both the time and access to a computer terminal.
