very difficult though in my job as you state only 7kg from the floor but we have very few cartons of books that weigh 7kg. we can't just leave them on the floor , we have to lift them and restack. no resources for 2 people working on one pallet

Useful - makes you think!

As I worked through the sections it did make me think more about keeping my back safe whilst lifting and removing books from high shelves. It is easy to become complacent about tasks we perform every day at home and work so a course like this does help to refresh and retrain us to think about the possible consequences if manual handling is done badly.

Easy to use softwear.

The course information was relevant and understandable. However I could not print off the certificate off at the time and there was no way to go back in at a later date and print it off or proof of completion. This has meant that my training record shows this training as outstanding, and has caused problems for me and my team leader.

Simple to follow

Nice and easy training programme. Videos helpful but not too long or complicated. Options on final test sometimes a little too obvious when it comes to the wrong answer.

Too much "filler"

The course had maybe 5 key pages out of 20+. You should have option of "key pages" only - just giving the important information on how to assess a load & lift it in different situations. You could also advise people to turn off the sound, skip through the crap, and in that way possible to complete in under 10 mins.

Great there are so many courses on the railway that we have to drive miles to get to but could easily be done on line like this one.
