This created food for thought. I solo manage a branch library as required and need to become more self-reliant. I tend to worry about environmental issues e.g. the burglar alarm, lighting arrangements. Adopting a checklist approach should help with this but also knowing who to check with if unsure. I will try to keep my work contacts up-to-date as it helps to be able to phone a colleague.

I didn't find this very helpful in terms of other Lone Worker training provided by other providers. I found much of it very simple and some parts not relevant at all. The parts that were relevant were covered fairly well. The test seemed rather pointless and I'm fairly sure could have been completed without paying any attention at all.
