this seemed a little extreme to me, I don't know what country or part of the UK it is intended for but where I live you don't need to take any where near the precautions that you are suggesting in this course, YET
Makes you think a bit and to be vigilant. My only thought was that at some of our properties no one would hear you scream, poor phone signal too... Locking the day is by far the safest thing and if anyone calls lean out of an upstairs window and don't open the door!!
