This was a very good training session for lone workers, especially with the risks and personal saftey now at a level when all of us working alone are more susceptible to meeting others with challenging behaviour, which I have personally experienced. Maybe you also can give time to speak about knife crimes and how to deal with this.
I work in a shop, so some of these things mentioned don't apply to me. But other things should apply, like when opening up in a morning or closing the shop at night, especially when cashing up. Also for anyone who has any health problems, they should not be left on their own for a extended period of time.
It was clear, organised, useful information, sensible etc and made me think about my safety in general. Just not thinking where the exits are highlights our lack of awareness in keeping ourselves safe in situations we may not expect to be challenged. Also Bystander effect and how we may be able to help de-escalate a situation or just ask for assistance.
VERY GOOD .
Valuable information presented in an interesting format, long enough for all the relevant info but short enough not to become information overload and boring.
Important information to be aware of and use as the need arises.
I found the course informative and necessary for a sound and sensible base to work from
virtually all of the content is not applicable to our working environment. Pointless course.
