This one tested me more than some of the others and so especially enjoyable although a could have done better. I would review slide number 18, lifting a man cage on a telehandler is to be avoided unless the tilt lever is securely locked off, with the range of tilt on the machines it can cause significant risk. For the slide, there are better options to make the point about a safety cages such as a cherry picker or scissor lift.

Appeared good presentation quality however because it is a general purpose training it is a little off the mark for Viridor (as waste company). It talks about non-integrated man baskets at slide 18 and 24 which we have completely forbidden. Would have liked to have more on planning / the lift plan, myself as authorising others to lift would be out main use for this training as our LOLER operators we would deploy them Lifting and Slinging training already which is much more detailed.

A good insight into LOLER and what is involved

Great course, very helpful, very informative. The presentation of the courses was easy to read and understand. Easy to learn and digest course material thanks to short modules and activities. Enjoyed it thank you.

This course was easy to navigate and allowed me to go back over the content I was unsure of whenever needed, at any point. A great short course.

Enjoyed this course, had to go back and review sections a couple of times. It is great that the course does not fail you and gives you the chance to go back and look over. Clear and easy to understand, and great use of visual aids and examples.
