Enjoyed the guidance, although a lot of it was familiar to me, there were sections that I hadn't thought about and now I am aware of all the correct procedures.
OK if you're new to the subject.
Long and dry but, then that is the subject. I have always struggled reading through the guidance every 2 years to keep myself updated and refresh my memory on the subject. Breaking down the contents into "slides" gives a good indication of progress that is difficult to get by reading the Guidance directly. A wealth of reference material makes it richer and allows to expand on specific topics at will. I found the indicative duration, 75 minutes, misleading; it took me twice as long to read through it making some notes. I felt that anything less would not make justice to the subject.

The excellent aspect about safeguarding children and all the procedures and policies.
Would be great if this was a more immersive activity with some short burst video's clips and Quiz's interspersed. It is a lot of reading, and keeping engaged becomes a challenge.

I prefer video training where someone talks through the areas to be trained on, this was text only which made it harder to absorb the information you was being given. A summary at the end would be a nice addition covering the main points to further instil the key information.
Course did not take that long to complete so that was an added bonus.
