The course offered information and advice regarding health and safety and served as a good reminder/ refresher course.
I find H&S ridiculous. At my place of work everyone is told to take care of themselves and not to do any task that they feel they cannot or should not do. We do regular risk assessments where necessary and expect all staff to evaluate a task before attempting it and ask for help/assistance where necessary. Perhaps we are very lucky and other places are not as good as we are in which case I would no doubt change my view.
I found the training informative,interesting way of learning. I enjoyed the short videos and the overview at the start and each of each section. A good way to learn about facts and figures and also will help us all to become aware of Hazards within the workplace, who is responsible for what and how to deal with them. In addition as employees we also now are rights regarding the law.
